How to Disassemble a Nintendo DS Lite. +
With so many case mod options available for Nintendo DS Lite, here are two guides which show how to take apart your Nintendo DS Lite. For the experienced, the video shows that it can be done in under 5 minutes. Then followed by a picture guide.

- 1.Remove these 2 rubber tabs,and using the Phillips screwdriver to open the battery cover.

- 2.Using the phillips screwdriver and Tri-star screwdriver to remove all those screw.

- 3.Remove the battery then using the Phillips screwdriver to take out the screw.

- 4.As shown on the picture, take off cover.

- 5.Open the bottom part of shell.

- 6.As shown on the picture, remove all the parts from the shell.

- 7.Using the Philips screwdriver to remove the pen holder and metal part.

- 8.Take out these 2 wires from the sockets.

- 9.Follow the arrow direction to take out the black wire (WiFi wire) from the jack to underneath the DS card adapter across to the otherside and using the Phillis screwdriver to remove 2 screws.

- 10.Take apart the PCB from the bottom part of shell.

- 11.Using the Phillips screw driver to remove these 2 screws.

- 12.Follow the arrow direction (1) to flip black bar to snap off flatwire. and (2) gently to take off the flat wire.

- 13.Remove the power light indicator.

- 14.Place the flat wire to the arrow 1 position (the slim slot), while pushing the flat wire to the arrow 2 direction, also push the shell to the flat wire simultaneously.

- 15.Take apart the top and bottom shell.

- 16.Slip the Angle adjuster.

- 17.Roll the flat wire.

- 18.Remove the ring.

- 19.Remove 4 tapes and 2 rubber pads and using the Phillips screwdriver to remove these 4 screws.

- 20.As shown on the picture ,follow the arrow 1 direction to press down the top cover and push the cover to the arrow 2 direction.

- 21.Open the top NDS lite shell.

- 22.Remove the LCD panel from the top cover shell. since the LCD panel has a firm sticky tape to attach itself to the shell, so please do it carefully.

- 23.roll up the flatewire and push it out to the arrow direction.

- 24.Take apart of all the parts from the shell.
